Cline Cabin is a cozy log home that's a perfect base for exploring the Olympic National Park. Bring your pets, gather round the gas fire pit, and relax. Located between Sequim and Port Angeles, Olympic National Park's Deer Park entrance is only a 15 minute drive away (no need to even get on the highway!) Cline Cabin sits at the end of a private drive, on a forested hill overlooking a meadow. It's a peaceful, private getaway on 1.5 acres that will deliver all the Olympic Peninsula has to offer. The space This log home has 1200 square feet of living space with a full kitchen with a gas range and a dishwasher, an open living space, three private bedrooms and one and a half baths. It's two stories, with one bedroom, the half-bath and a private balcony upstairs and the other two bedrooms and full bath with a tub and shower downstairs. All beds are queen sized. Living room has a couch and three chairs, dining room table seats six comfortably. There are two smart TVs, a plug in fireplace for easy cozy ambiance, a collection of books with Olympic Peninsula ties and a box full of games. The big front deck has plenty of space to relax and enjoy the territorial view of the field below. There's a propane firepit, a propane BBQ with a side burner, plenty of private parking on site, and even a garage if you want to stash your car, bikes, or motorcycles out of the weather. There are a couple of apple trees you're free to pick from, and about an acre and a half of land to explore. Guest access Access is via a private, gravel road, and this home is at the end of the drive. Plenty of parking is available, the concrete pad in front of the garage has room for two vehicles, and off to the side of the small barn shaped shed is room for more. Other things to note We frequently see deer here, and occasionally coyotes and bobcat and bear. The neighbor to the north has a couple of great Pyrenees dogs that bark, they're well fenced and wonderfully taken care of, but they do like to shout out greetings. This is one of the reasons we decided to make Cline a dog friendly listing. Plus our dog, Stanley, used to love the place when we lived there. Also there's plenty of room for zoomies and fetching. The cabin sleeps six adults, in 3 bedrooms with 3 queen sized beds. We also have a pack and play for guests traveling with infants. The kitchen has all the plates, wine glasses, cooking tools and implements you need to cook a great meal for up to 6 folks, but we don't leave it stocked with groceries. We do supply coffee, as well as tea, sugar and creamers to get you started in the AM. We also stock salt and pepper for the table, olive oil, non stick spray and paper towels. For groceries along the way to Cline Cabin, duck into Sequim, there's a Safeway, a QFC, a Wal Mart and a Costco there. Thanks for reading these details!
