Description

Artistically decorated 120m3 apartment in the center of Malaga with an amazing rooftop terrace (80 m3) overlooking the beautiful Church La Trinidad, 50 m from La Tribuna de Los Pobres, situated on the border to the historic center of Malaga. You can reach the centric square Plaza de la Constitution in 7 minutes walk, and walk to the beach in 20 You have all the advantage of being in the center of a vibrant city, and at the same time be just outside the crowds and the noice. The space In this 120m3 flat, you enter directly in the dinningroom. To the right you have the livingroom and the balcony towards the street. To the left you enter the kitchen, with the stairs going directly to the 80m3 rooftop terrace. From the kitchen you also have acces to bedroom one, and the cosy kitchen patio (can you picture yourself there with a glass of wine and some tapas you bought on the market, chatting with someone who is cooking :-) From the kitchen you get to the bathroom, bedroom two and three and the other small patio, that gives light to bedroom two, and leads to the extra toilet. From bedroom three you also have acces to the kitchen patio. On the rooftop you have two stable sitting areas - the long brick bench, and the chill out corner which, together with two square tables, can be joined to a bed (140-210cm). Apart from that, there´s a transportable table and chairs that you can place where ever you like. I am a danish woman who has had a connection to spain since I was 18 (when I lived in Madrid - I´m now 64) Now I bought this wonderful place, that I decorated with my grandfathers paintings (he was a wellknown danish painter in his time), stuff I inherited, things I found on flee markets etc. Don´t expect anything to be new and square. I like things with history - to upcycle- and they might have stains and scratches. But I like them, and it´s also my private getaway - so I expect you to treat my spanish home with love and care - the same way I made it :-) Also because of that, I only rent out to people with a profile and good reviews. Guest access You will have acces to everywhere in the place, but some draws or cupboards will contain my personal stuff (clothes, papers, things like that) and I expect you to leave thing there as they are ;-) I personally adore the rooftop. In the winter you can enjoy being in the sun without it being too hot (I have fx sown all the pillows and mattresses up there in the sun this winter) - and the summer nights are really something special with my loved ones, late dinner and a bottle of wine. Other things to note - Let me be clear from the start: Some would claim that I'm a pretty demanding host: - I did my best to make this place a beautiful and functional home, gave it all my love for you (and myself) to enjoy. I cared a lot and I expect you to take care of it the same way. This care also goes to my local helper Jessica, so: - If you arrive after 21 in the evening, you will have to pay an extra fee of 30 € cash to Jessica - At the same page, I am flexible to arrange around arriving and departure schedules whenever it is possible. But I´m also really protective towards Jessica, so when it is possible to check in earlier or depart later, it will affect her more than me, changing her working schedule. So I charge an extra fee of 10€ an hour, that you will have to pay directly to her, if you want to check in before 15 or depart after 10. If you want that, ask me and I'll tell you if it's an option. Another thing is to arrive early to leave the luggage and come back later when she has finished the cleaning. That is always an option, if she is already there. - Also at the same page: I expect you communicate well in time your arrival schedule - Jessica has a life, and she cannot sit and wait hours for somebody who will arrive fx "in the afternoon". I know you cannot always predict delays .... I just want you to be aware, that there is another person on the other end depended on your ability to communicate. -You can smoke - outside on the terrace - The house is not for children minor to 8 years. (unless they still cannot crawl) And very important: -The terrace is gorgeous - almost inviting you to have an all night party. But this is a normal spanish hood. The neighbors are close, and they have to get up in the morning to go to work or to school. So the main house rule is to respect my neighbors and go party somewhere else after 22 at week nights and 23 Fri-Sat. That also goes for loud speaking and laughing. I mean that very seriously. I love parties and fun myself, it's not that, But if the neighbors have complaints, they can close my business. So if you rent my home you will be the responsible, and with just one complaint from one of my neighbors, you will be asked to leave the place immediately without further warning. I hate being so harsh, but I have some really bad experiences with some tenants. Also, to secure me that you are being respectful towards my helper, my neighbors and my spanish home, I only rent out to people who have good reviews and a written profile, so I can get a feel of who I´m inviting in. I provide linnen and towels - but the towels are not for the beach. There is only aircon in the livingroom. The rest of the rooms have fans. Apart from that, remember to enjoy and have fun.
