Description
It’s amazing what you can do with a 170 year old pigsty and stable. The cottage has been skillfully redesigned and is now a stylish, modern and peaceful place to stay. It sits in 12 acres of fields and the cottage has its own private garden. With peaceful, open countryside all around you, this is a perfect place to relax. And there's a wood burner with free logs! and a fire guard provided. Unusualy for this part of Wales the WiFi is fibre with a download speed of 80mbps and upload of 60mbps. The space The ground floor living area is open-plan and has a wood burner (free logs supplied) and wooden floors with underfloor heating for the colder months. With plenty of light from the open gallery upstairs it is a very comfortable place to settle in. There is a downstairs bedroom and bathroom which is good for those who ‘don’t do stairs’. The other two bedrooms are on the first floor. Ty Carreg has all the comforts essential for a relaxing break, with great beds and a spacious garden. There are long views across fields with a glimpse of the Preseli mountains in the distance. There is plenty of space for children to play safely. There are walks from the cottage along the very quiet lanes or down through the village woods. The large garden is fully feneced so dogs cannot escape! Also, when there aren't sheep in our fields (they're only there from November to March) you can walk and take your dogs in the fields. We are happy for you to bring a second dog for an additional fee of £10. All linen and towels are provided. Our guests are welcome to use our washing machine for a small fee. Guest access There is plenty of space for 2 cars to park in front of the cottage. There is one low step into the cottage and no steps in the garden.. Other things to note We do not allow our guests to invite further friends or family to join them here. We ask that dogs are not left alone in the property at any time.
