The space appeals to holiday makers, kite surfers and business travellers and is highly suitable for long-term stays. Parking is on property, unfenced outside of the house. The space Accessible via a separate gate and entrance, my guests have their own space, consisting of a lounge with an open plan, full kitchen as well as an en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet. The kitchen has a fridge, microwave and a toaster and is stocked with dishes and cutlery, hence the space works well for self-catering. A desk offers the perfect work space, there is complimentary wifi Internet access (fibre, fast internet connection) available. There is air-conditioning in the lounge which cools nicely in summer and keeps you warm in winter. The accommodation is spacious and rather resembles a flat hence it is called it 'More Than Just A Room'. Smart TV with free Netflix. Guest access Guests have access to their own braai room, i.e. a covered and enclosed area with a barbecue grill. It is a typically South African experience to braai, meaning to grill your meat over open fire. Other things to note If The South African energy crisis or load shedding is an ongoing period of widespread national blackouts of electricity supply. The power outages are scheduled, I recommend using the app 'EsKomSePush' and check the schedule for the Table View area. We have solar power and the place has a gas hob which allows for cooking even during load shedding. Please note that the electric oven and air-conditioning will not work during load shedding. Although the water situation in Cape Town has improved, I kindly request guests to be water-wise and be mindful when using water as it is a precious commodity and the drought remains a realistic threat for Cape Town. Cleaning service is every Thursday, towels and bed linen are changed every fortnight. Laundry: An iron and iron board are provided in the bedroom cupboard. For laundry washing services, there are various laundry places in the area. Strictly no smoking inside and also no smoking in the braai room.
