Sankalp Villa, Nagaon for families

Sankalp Villa is located at Vaidya Ali in Nagaon by the Alibag-Revdanda State Highway. We look forward to hosting small families of up to 4 guests. The Villa is a double storied structure. However, only the first floor of the Villa comprising an air-conditioned bedroom with an in-built kitchenette and an open balcony is available for booking. The bedroom is well ventilated. We strive to provide a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere to our guests. We host families. The space Sankalp Villa is situated in a green zone at Vaidya Ali in Nagaon in a compound of over half an acre. We are right by the state highway linking Alibag with Revdanda, about 8 km from Alibag ST bus stand. The Vaidya Ali ST bus stop is just outside our compound. The Villa is a double storied structure. However, only the first floor of the Villa comprising an air-conditioned bedroom with an in-built kitchenette and a balcony is available for booking. The entry to the bedroom is from the covered but open balcony. The balcony is skirted on three sides by a two feet high wall cum bench with a gated opening to the stairs leading up/ down to the ground. The bedroom is also well ventilated with three large windows in three different directions. The windows have three window panes. To enhance ventilation, 1/3rd of the windows can be opened with mosquito protection. The in-built kitchenette in the bedroom is equipped with a single burner cooking gas stove, microwave oven, mixer-grinder, kettle and pop up toaster along with cooking vessels, microwavable containers, crockery and cutlery. The balcony has a four seater dining table and acts as a sitting cum dining space. The Villa has inverter power back up which will ensure that a central light point, fans, wifi router and the cable TV would function for up to six hours during any unfortunate event of power breakdown. The inverter back up and the well ventilated layout of the Villa should ensure a comfortable stay for the guests in the Villa even during a power breakdown. The bedroom has a normal sized double bed (6ftX5ft) for adult guests and a smaller bed (5.1/2ft x 4ft) for child guests. The smaller bed is placed on rollers under the double bed and is required to be pulled out for sleeping. We can also provide a floor mattress, if required. The Villa can accommodate up to 4 guests. Another 11 guests can be provided accommodation if the adjacent Sankalp Bungalow, subject to availability, is also booked. Guest access Guests who have booked Sankalp Villa have private and exclusive access to the upper floor bedroom of Sankalp Villa and its attached bathroom and balcony. Guests who have booked Sankalp Villa should not access the adjacent Sankalp bungalow. However, Sankalp bungalow can also be booked separately, subject to availability. All guests (of Sankalp Bungalow and of Sankalp Villa) have common access to the parking area (parking to be done as directed by staff) and to the common compound. The guests should also not access the outhouse meant for the rest / stay of staff. All guests (of Sankalp Bungalow and of Sankalp Villa) are entitled to their privacy and as such all guests are requested to honor the right of privacy of other guests. Accordingly the guests are requested to cease making any type loud noise after 10 pm and also to stop smoking in the open area if objected to by any other guest. During your stay We have a care taker on call to assist you in the use of facilities provided and to guide you on directions for travel and sight-seeing. I am also available to you on phone throughout the day till 11 pm for any guidance. Other things to note We have not included food in our tariff. Food, if any, provided by us will be chargeable separately. Guests can cook food of their choice in the kitchen using the cookware and stove / oven provided in the kitchen. However, guests should bring their own provisions (grains, oil, salt, milk, tea, coffee, butter etc.) to make their food. Guests can also source provisions from the shops nearby (the Nagaon main market is about 200 meters away on the main road towards Revdanda). Guests can also bring their own ready-to-eat food or order food from the nearby restaurants / take away bars. Guests should eat food or drink beverages only at the dining table provided in the premises. Please do not eat or drink on the bed. Guests should also wash and clean the cookware / crockery / cutlery if they use it. Please deposit the garbage / waste in the dustbins provided in the kitchen / bedrooms / living room. The furniture, bedding, linen and towels provided to the guests are for use within the Villa only; please do not take them outside. A Security Deposit of Rs.1000/- per group is to be placed with us at the time of check-in. The security deposit will be returned to the depositor at check-out after verification by the caretaker of any damage, if any, caused to the property or premises including fitments, gadgets, linen, cookware, cutlery, crockery etc, as stated in the House Rules.
