In the heart of Périgord, less than 30 minutes from the train stations and airports of Bergerac or Périgueux, 1 hour from Bordeaux, close to tourist sites, in an area of 6 hectares is the elegant Château de Monciaux. Completely renovated in 2017, the 18th-century castle offers the charm of a prestigious home where refinement and comfort are the order of the day. In a bucolic setting conducive to rest, our 7 suites with private bathrooms and toilets accommodate up to 16 people accompanied by babies. The space The castle has seven elegant and refined suites, ideal for an unforgettable luxury stay. Five of these sumptuous suites are located on the first floor, while the other two occupy the second floor, offering breathtaking views and an intimate and quiet atmosphere. Each suite has a private bathroom or shower room, equipped with high-end amenities to ensure comfort and well-being. The toilets are also private, ensuring total discretion and privacy. The entire castle has eight bathrooms, guaranteeing our guests an impeccable stay experience. Brantôme Suite (1) In the heart of the Périgord Vert, Brantôme, nicknamed the "Venice of the Périgord", seduces with its thousand-year-old abbey and enchanting landscapes. It is in this idyllic setting that you will discover this sumptuous 35 m² suite, located on the 1st floor of the castle. Offering a triple exposure, it reveals stunning views of the front of the estate, the terraces and the green park. A real haven of peace, this suite combines elegance and comfort. Decorated in subtle tones of taupe and violet, it has a king-size bed, a large dressing room and a luxurious bathroom in exposed stones, carefully arranged in the Southeast tower, for a moment of absolute relaxation. A luxury experience in a breathtaking environment, for an unforgettable stay "Montignac" Suite (2) In the heart of the Vallée de l'Homme, Montignac is famous for being home to the Lascaux cave, nicknamed the "Sistine Chapel of Prehistory". The Montignac suite, located on the 1st floor, is an intimate and bright suite of 18 m², decorated in soothing tones of white and light gray, creating a calm and serene atmosphere. It offers the possibility to choose between two single beds that can be combined into a comfortable king-size bed (180 x 200), for maximum flexibility and well-being. Its private bathroom, equipped with modern sanitary facilities, completes the layout of this refined and comfortable refuge, ideal for a relaxing and tranquil getaway. "Les Eyzies" Suite (3) The cradle of humanity, Les Eyzies, famous for the Cro-Magnon shelter, embodies history and timeless charm. The Les Eyzies suite (28 m²), located on the 1st floor, combines elegance and authenticity with its soothing tones of taupe and yellow, its period fireplace, and its double exposure offering a peaceful view of the park and the swimming pool. It includes a king-size bed (180 x 200 cm), a harmonious bathroom and well-designed storage spaces. "Bergerac" Suite (4) Renowned for Cyrano and its prestigious vineyards, including the famous Monbazillac, Bergerac embodies refinement. The bright and elegant Bergerac suite (25 m²), located on the 1st floor, offers soothing tones of taupe and blue. It has a king-size bed, a wardrobe, a dresser, and a bathroom with fresh colors. View of the park and pool. "Sarlat" Suite (5) Emblem of the Périgord, Sarlat enchants with its blonde stones, its exceptional architecture and its unforgettable flavors. The Sarlat suite (26 m²), a true haven of refinement, is distinguished by its warm shades of taupe and orange, its triple exposure to the park, pool and terraces, and its privileged location on the 1st floor. Equipped with a king-size bed, a wardrobe, and a large dresser, it opens onto an elegant private bathroom nestled in the South-West tower. "Beynac" Suite (6) Ranked among the most beautiful villages in France, Beynac seduces with its emblematic castle, the setting of many films including Luc Besson's Joan of Arc. The Beynac suite (30 m²), located on the 2nd floor, offers a rare elegance with its white and pink tones. It has three single beds, two of which can be combined into a king-size bed. The suite opens onto a beautiful private bathroom in matching colors, nestled in the Southeast Tower, with remarkable stones. "Hautefort" Suite (7) A land of history and culture, Hautefort seduces with its majestic castle and French gardens. The Hautefort suite (26 m²), located on the 2nd floor, combines comfort and elegance with its three single beds that can be combined into a king size. The suite, with its fresh shades of white, blue and grey, opens onto a superb private bathroom in the South-West tower, combining exposed stone and a soothing atmosphere. Guest access In the park with bicentennial trees, bordered by woods, you can enjoy the large 12x6m swimming pool (heated for an additional fee and open from May 1 to September 30) and completely secure (automatic shutter and barriers). Deckchairs and parasols will allow you to relax when you return from your excursions. Playgrounds for the youngest (giant trampoline, swings and slide) but also for the older ones (country tennis court and in its juice, petanque, ping-pong, soccer, volleyball, badminton) will also allow you to relax. It should also be noted that the Sudrie estate, an equestrian center equipped with an Olympic carousel, is only 2 kilometers away. Other things to note Please note that you have the option to organize family parties or other events in accordance with the rules in force. Any event must be subject to our agreement. In some cases, you may be asked for an extra fee. In addition, a heating supplement applies according to needs (oil meter reading at the start of heating and at the end, invoicing at cost price - €1.40/liter). Please note that the pool is open from the end of April to the end of September and can be heated on request using a heat pump with a surcharge (€50/day). In addition, the tennis court is rustic, it can have false bounces, it is a court conducive to leisure, in its "juice". Bed and bath linens are offered as an option: Single bed: €15 - Double bed: €30 - Toilet set: €10 per person Our services include luxury quality linen and your beds will be carefully made by us. We don't provide pool towels. We don't provide tennis rackets. We do not provide wood for fireplaces but we can put you in touch with a logger who will deliver it to you.
