Peloton House is a stunning apartment on the upper two floors of a lovingly renovated historic 1867 build full of period charm. The house is near the Governor General's residence in New Edinburgh, a central, old-world Heritage Conservation District. A longer walk will reach the Byward market and the National Gallery. We are located just off a bicycle path, as well as very easy access to the Gatineau park and its world-class hiking, cycling, swiming, skiing, mountain and fat biking trails. The space Newly renovated, furnished and decorated in sumptuous luxury by Ottawa's hottest designer, this is a stunning and spacious apartment on the second and third floors of a heritage building in historic New Edinburgh. The master suite occupies the the massive third floor loft and its soaring peaked ceilings are framed with 150-year old exposed beams. Step into your spa bathrobe and onto the heated floors of your ensuite bathroom. Will you opt for rainshower tonight, or use the waterfall feature? Perhaps the massage jets instead, scrubbing away the pains of the day with our organic bath amenities. Or use the hand shower in conjunction with the disco lights and have a little karaoke sing-along to energize you. Then turn on the fireplace or watch Netflix on our flat screen Smart TV, and cuddle down into the long-staple cotton sheets and real goose down pillows that adorn your TempurPedic king-sized mattress. Read a novel with the flames of your Slimline fireplace. Not ready for bed yet? What about a cup of coffee or a bottle of wine from our cellar on the cute-as-a-button front balcony? Or use your fully-stocked kitchen to whip up a relaxing meal enjoyed on the elegant space of the marble dining table. For extra guests, there is a smaller bedroom downstairs with a Queen-sized TempurPedic mattress with the same 1,000 thread count sheets and easy access to a separate full bath. Confortably sleeping up to 4 guests, Peloton House is a gateway to all that Ottawa and the Gatineau Park have to offer, and yet it is a destination within itself. Guest access Guests have exclusive use of the suite. Other things to note Out of respect for our neighbours we do not allow parties of any kind including pre-wedding events, or allow video filming to take place on the property. Also, if you are reading prior reviews, please note we have recently renovated to include a private second bedroom rather than a wall bed in the livingroom. Also, we no longer offer access to a hot tub or a spa. Please note that the steps to the third floor are narrower than modern construction and may not be suitable for people with mobility issues. There is plenty of street parking available. It is unlimited during the off hours and is a 3 hour max from 7am to 7pm on weekdays.
