The nearest bus connections are within 5 minutes' walking distance and in about 25 minutes you can reach downtown Hamburg. The Teufelsbrück ferry terminal is a 10-minute drive away. The local recreation area around the Volkspark can be reached in about 20 minutes. Here you can enjoy walks or start with a bike tour in the countryside. Various shopping facilities are within walking distance. Here you will find a hardware store, two discount stores and a large supermarket.
