-ADA unit- Helene Update: We are fully operational with power, water and wifi. Roads are clear. Modern cabin with high ceilings, hardwood floors, lots of light and a private deck for outdoor relaxation. Close to Asheville, Weaverville, Marshall and Mars Hill. Outdoor activities and dining choices all within minutes. Specifically built to ADA standards with wide doorways, no steps, helpful equipment in the bathroom, a roll-in shower, a roll-up kitchen sink and lowered kitchen counters. The space Farmside Village is a group of 4 private cabins on a wooded hilltop of our 21 acre farm. With 1- and 2-bedroom cabins (including our Marigold cabin designed with ADA features) we can host individuals, couples, families or groups up to a maximum group sizes of 20. The Marigold cabin can accomodate 4 adults and 2 children. Marigold is dog-friendly, your pup is welcome to join you when you stay here for your mountain adventures. When you book a stay at this cabin you will have the entire cabin to yourself. The Marigold cabin features two private bedrooms with queen beds & ceiling fans, a private bathroom with a large roll-in shower (no tub), and an open-concept living room featuring an easy-to-use electric fireplace and an eat-in kitchen. All linens, including bed sheets, comforters towels and washcloths are provided. We also provide toilet paper, paper towels, & kitchen towels. The kitchen is furnished with a counter-height refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot and an induction stove. Pots, pans, dishes and cooking utensils are all provided - including coffee and coffee filters. For families traveling with infants a pack & play is available on request. Please notify us directly when you make your booking so we can ensure it is sanitized and in your cabin for your stay. The large, covered deck provides ample seating for enjoying the serenity of the outdoors and features a ceiling fan for warmer days. A fire ring is available in the common area for guest to use. Guests are responsible for checking for and abiding by any burn bans that may be in effect for Buncombe County. Guests regularly enjoy seeing the local wildlife including deer & wild turkey. You may even glimpse the yak across the fence on the adjoining property (please observe from a distance, don't approach them.) Pet Policy: * Maximum 2 dogs allowed * No cats, no birds, no exotics * Dog(s) must be crated when left unattended. We know you're going to want to explore all of the amazing sights of Asheville and there will be times when you're pup can't join you. Please respect our space by crating your pup when you leave them at home. Do not lock your pup in a bedroom or the bathroom, they must be in a crate. We regret the need for this policy however we have little choice due to increasing instances of property damage resulting from unattended pups.
