Maison Baron aka Baron House is situated in a quiet suburb of Houtbay, 2 minute walking distance to the main beach, the marina, restaurants, coffee shop, “hop on hop off sightseeing bus”, MyCiti bus stop and a number of fresh fish markets. It has great views of Chapmans Peak Drive as well as the bay and harbour. The house has a baby camper bed with a mattress, baby blanket and a basket with a few toys for a young child next to the chimney. The house is unpretentious and will feel welcoming upon entry like a “home away from home” due to the morning and afternoon light streaming through the house and the specific choice of decor and soft furnishings. It is strategically well located to the main attractions Houtbay has to offer - Harbour market, Lookout Deck Restaurant and the Harbour. The house is walking distance from the main beach through a security gate that is locked during late hours. Guest access Guests have the entire house to themselves. Feel free to use the picnic baskets, table cloths and seat cushions for picnics around Chapmans Peak drive. Rest assured that the owners believe in “cleanliness is close to godliness” and the house is cleaned at the highest standards to ensure a safe place to relax and enjoy your holiday. Other things to note We can recommend a safe, spacious and economic airport transfer with Raymond. Feel free to book him prior to your stay to collect and bring you safely to our destination.
