Charming apartment furnished in typical Venetian style – Living room overlooking the Canal/Rio della Madonna dell'Orto. It is accessed through a beautiful shared garden. The dock for vaporetti (water taxis) for connections to the airport, train station, Murano, Burano, Lido, islands of Venice, etc. is only a 7-minute walk from the property. Personalized check-in with a welcome from the host, who will give you all the information you need to make the most of Venice. The space As you cross the threshold of the house, you are met with a welcoming atmosphere. The large window of the living room is illuminated by the sun on beautiful days, bringing warmth and light to the whole house. At the same time as maintaining privacy and intimacy, the view of the canal offers a typical glimpse of the real life of Venetians. You can see the passing of a few gondolas or boats from both right and left, and the view of the waterfront on the opposite side, with tourists and Venetians on foot, is pleasant. On the ground floor there is a bathroom with a shower, a washing machine and a toilet, washbasin, and bidet; there is a well-equipped kitchen complete with equipment for cooking, a dishwasher, and a refrigerator; there is a comfortable sofa bed that sleeps two, complete with a living room furnished with antique furniture. Above this room is the roof of the house with exposed beams in the living room. An internal staircase leads to the upper floor with a large double bedroom with antique Venetian furniture and a large wardrobe. On the same floor there is a bathroom with a shower, with a window overlooking the rooftops of Venice, a closet with ironing equipment and items for cleaning the house, a drying rack for drying laundry, and above this floor there is the roof of the house with exposed beams. Guest access I like to personally welcome my guests into my home in Venice's Historic Center. CHECK-IN IS FROM 3:00 P.M. TO 8:00 P.M. Only upon advance request can be arranged for check-in after 8:00 p.m. but, at the following extra costs to be paid in cash along with the Municipal Tourist Tax, which will be indicated in my first message to confirm the reservation: A) Check-in from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. - extra cost of € 30.00 B) Check-in from 11:00 pm to 12:30 pm an extra cost of €50.00 Check-in is not available before 3pm Luggage storage is not possible either before check-in or after checkout but, I would like to point out that we have a cheap luggage storage facility just 6 minutes' walk from the house. To access the entrance of the house on foot, guests must pass through the entrance gate from the typical Venetian street and then follow a short condominium path with private residence gardens. FROM VENICE MARCO POLO AIRPORT BY PRIVATE WATER TAXI IN JUST 20 MINUTES: For access via a private water taxi, you can ask the boatman to dock the taxi at the condominium's private water gate for the house in the "RIO DELLA MADONNA DELL 'ORTO" canal where I will be waiting for you inside the condominium's entrance door, as shown in the photographs here in the listing. The water taxi is a splendid boat ride through the Venice lagoon, taking around 20 minutes. You may not check out from the private water gate .
