Hidden Garden Cottage

This 850 sf. cottage is a century old but was completely updated 12 years ago with era-appropriate furnishings, giving it a period (and safe) feel. Breakfast goodies, art, books, and a woodstove make it cozy. It sits on half an acre so lots of room for kids . It's in SW Portland, minutes from downtown. It's quiet, great for working or vacationing. An outdoor fire pit and gardens make it unique. There's even a zip line for kids. Family gatherings also fine. (Note: There is a $60 fee per dog.) The space This cottage is surrounded by three gardens. It's fronted by a large porch with napping couch and table for outside dining overlooking the flower garden. Details such as handmade tile, vintage furnishings, and ready-to-cook-in kitchen set the stage for a relaxing and special visit to Portland without being in the middle of the noise and grit that can be the urban scene. It's a lovely, quiet, and safe escape yet still central to everywhere you will want to explore. Fifteen minutes from the airport, ten minutes to downtown, and between both major freeways that take you to the coast or Mt. Hood. Guest access The cottage sits on half an acre of food, herb, and flower gardens, along with a lawn, swing, hammock, fire pit, and lots of outdoor seating. (I also have a zip line for children, let me know!) The front half acre is all yours, plus three parking spots. Other things to note I raised two kids here and tried to make it a place where people can enjoy being with each other. I have four grandchildren so there are swings, zip line, and hammocks.
