The space Nestled on the serene hillside of Nusa Penida, our property offers a unique experience where each sunrise paints the sky with golden hues. Please note, Nusa Penida's roads can be challenging, with minimal lighting, especially at night. Additionally, our property is slightly farther from popular landmarks, so renting a scooter or hiring a driver will be beneficial for exploring the island. We’re happy to assist with arranging rentals or transport to make your stay more comfortable. Despite the journey, the breathtaking views and peaceful ambiance at our retreat make it all worthwhile. BEDROOM This property houses 4 rooms, and you will stay in one superior room, spanning 16 square meters. It features a comfortable bed, a clean bathroom, air conditioning, and a patio to savor your morning in peace. NO EXTRA BED We maintain our commitment to sustainability and simplicity, hence, no extra-bed facility is available. The latest boat from Sanur Harbor usually departs at 17:00 WITA (GMT +8). Booking ahead of time will help you avoid any last-minute inconveniences and ensure a timely arrival on the island. HARBOUR DISTANCE - Sampalan Harbor is located 7 km or 15 minutes drive (closest harbor to property). - Toya Pakeh Harbor is located 15.5 km or 32 minutes drive from property. NO DIRECT BEACH ACCESS While our property doesn’t offer direct beach access, the stunning Diamond Beach is just a 30-minute ride away! Other things to note ISSUES & SUPPORT PROCESS Our goal is to ensure you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay at the property. While we do our best to maintain everything in good condition, issues may occasionally occur during your stay. If any issue arises, please inform us via the booking platform chat, and we will make reasonable efforts to assist and resolve it as efficiently as possible. Resolution timelines may vary depending on the severity of the issue, staff availability, inspection needs, and external conditions beyond our control that may not be immediately fixable, including power outages, water interruptions, or internet issues handled by third-party providers. CONSTRUCTION NOISE Kindly note that there will be ongoing construction near the property, expected to be completed by May 2026. The construction usually starts at 8 AM - 5 PM. To enhance your comfort and tranquility, we advise you to bring earplugs if you are sensitive to noise or prefer a peaceful rest. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this period. CURRENT PROPERTY CONDITIONS Please note that the current property conditions include no emergency lighting or candles during blackouts, inconsistent water supply, and only cold water in the bathrooms. Guests have also reported cleanliness issues such as clogged drains, stained towels, and unpleasant-smelling soap. We recommend preparing accordingly for a basic and rustic stay experience. PLEASE NOTE ⚠ Saltwater: Due to the property being on the island and close to the sea, the water will be saltier than usual. It's called Saltwater intrusion and naturally occurs in coastal aquifers, including Nusa Penida. You don't have to worry tho, it's still safe. ⚠ Electricity: Nusa Penida is a unique island that has an unstable power plant. Power outages can occur at any time during various hours, and this is beyond our control. NOT PET-FRIENDLY Please note that while our property does not typically accommodate pets, exceptions can be made upon request. You can confirm with our team about the type of pet you will bring. EARLY CHECK-IN Early check-in is not available, and we do not offer luggage drop-off before check-in time. Please plan your arrival accordingly. LATE NIGHT CHECK-IN For a smooth and safe arrival, we recommend checking in by 5 PM, as some areas can be dark and challenging after sunset. Our online hosts are available from 9 AM to 6 PM to assist you. LATE CHECK-OUT Check-out time is strict, and we do not allow late check-outs. Please plan your departure accordingly. LUGGAGE DROP-OFF POLICY We cannot accommodate luggage drop-off before check-in or after check-out, as we do not have storage space available. Kindly plan your arrival and departure times accordingly. COMPLIMENTARY BOTTLED WATER We provide two complimentary bottled waters per room upon check-in, for your initial refreshment. Please note these are offered once per stay. BOAT FEES AND INFORMATION We provide boat tickets from New Sanur Harbour (Jalan Matahari Terbit), pick-up cars on Penida harbor, and even tour arrangements around Nusa Penida. If you are interested to have a snorkeling experience with manta, I do have a team that can help to make it happen ;) If you are from the main island of Bali and want to go to Nusa Penida Island, you need to take a fast boat approximately 45 - 60 mins. We have a team of transportation managers that will be assisting you to arrange: 1. The fast boat to departure and returns ticket IDR ± 300K/pax. 2. A fast boat one-way ticket (Bali - Nusa Penida OR Nusa Penida - Bali) is IDR ± 150K/pax. 3. Fast boat schedule from Bali Island (New Sanur Harbour) to Nusa Penida Island: - Earliest: 6:30 AM - Lastest: 5 PM 4. Pick up and drop off on the Island price depends on the harbor distance to each property it around IDR ± 100-250k. 5. Car for pick up and drop off in the Island has 4 seats. 6. NO HOT WATER As part of our commitment to environmental stewardship, our accommodations are designed to harmonize with nature. Please be advised that our facilities do not include hot water. This decision helps us reduce energy consumption and preserve the natural beauty surrounding us. We find that many guests welcome the refreshing clarity of natural water, which is in keeping with the warm local climate. We appreciate your understanding and support in our sustainability efforts.
