Cozy Hideaway

Welcome to a cozy hideaway in the LOWER LEVEL (shared entrance)of a townhome located on Owen Sound’s east side close to shopping, popular restaurants, amenities, Georgian College and the Grey Bruce Regional Health Centre less than 5minutes away. PLEASE read all the information here so you have all the details The space Your host lives on the main floor of the townhome. When you arrive at the townhome, parking is available to you in the driveway, or on the road in front of the airbnb (between March 31st and December 1st). Dec 1-March 31 there is no overnight (11-7) parking in the street. Please note that the City of Owen Sound’s by-laws regarding Short Term Rentals require that all guests who request the booking must read and sign an agreement to the visitor code, which will be provided once the booking is confirmed. This is to ensure that all guests are aware of conduct expectations during their stay at the rental property. It may be signed digitally, or a hard copy can be provided that can be signed on arrival. Enter the townhome by inputting the access code provided to you 24-48 hours before your trip - there is a space for your shoes on the boot tray to your right. Head down the stairs where you will find a cosy nook with a bench and coat hooks for your jackets. Through the double doors you will find a welcoming living area equipped with cosy recliners, a comfy sofa, thermostat controlled gas fireplace and lots of comforting throws. Near the hallway is a coffee bar - there is a small microwave for heating up small amounts of food, a kettle ,a mini-fridge, toaster, a single serve coffee maker (K-Cup friendly), sugar, dinnerware and cutlery. PLEASE NOTE: There is no hot plate or any other means for heating up food other than the microwave. Down the hallway you will find your cosy bedroom and full bath. Please note that the bathroom has access from both the hallway and the bedroom. Linens are provided - if more are necessary please contact me via text or phone call. The bedroom contains a queen size platform bed with an antique door headboard and platform salvaged from my old country house. Across the hall is a secondary bedroom containing three separate single beds, two of which if requested can be converted to one king bed. Guest access The entire lower level of the rental is yours to enjoy. The shared entry way is the only portion that you share with the host, who lives on the main floor. There are no outside amenities on the rental property Please read all the details and listed amenities Other things to note There is a large grey tub for any dirty dishes. Just leave it on the blue bench at the bottom of the stairs when you go out and they will be washed and returned to the bench downstairs Please recycle all plastics, glass, cans, box board and cardboard in the bin provided **please note that from Dec 1-Apr1 the only parking is one space in the driveway. There is no overnight parking in the street
