Live like a Coloradan. Stay in this charming, sun splashed, 2 BR/1 Bath home in the heart of Old Colorado City. A short walk or bike ride from shops, restaurants, & nightlife. 5-10 minute drive to Garden of the Gods, Manitou Springs and downtown Colorado Springs. Enjoy the neighborhood park across the street with playgrounds, tennis and basketball courts. Our house is dog friendly with no additional fees. Recommendations are located within the house, but please reach out with any questions! The space This home is 650 sq ft with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. It has a fenced in yard for your dogs to roam or you to enjoy the beautiful weather. Grill available for use. There is not a washer and dryer in the home but there are two laundry mats within a few blocks, one to the east and another to the south. Guest access The front and side doors have a keypad for access to the home. The code will be a sent a few days before check-in. (3) parking spots are located on the east side of the house. Street parking is also available. Other things to note The house doesn’t have central AC but there is a mobile AC unit in the master bedroom and living room you can use for the summer months. Many homes in the older parts of Colorado Springs don’t have AC due to the cooler evenings. Because it generally cools off at night, opening the windows at night & shutting them during the day helps keep the house cooler. There will be days that are hotter than usual throughout various parts of the summer. If you need central AC, we'd recommend you consider other listings. The house is located on a main thoroughfare. There will be noise from park users across the street and traffic on Uintah St. There are earplugs available for use in the linen closet. This house is dog friendly without additional fees but we ask that you follow our pet policy. We do our best to deep clean after stays with dogs, but traces of hair and/or dander may remain. PET POLICY: • We allow (2) dogs up to 65 pounds each • Dogs are not to be left unsupervised or need to be crated • No dogs on the furniture • Please clean up after your dog(s) – both inside and outside • A pooper scooper is located on the south side of the shed. Please bag all poop. • Please use the designated pet towels located in the basket underneath the coat hooks by the side door HOUSE RULES: • No Parties or Events • No Unregistered Guests • No smoking (tobacco or marijuana) inside. Smoking is allowed outside but please clean up after yourself. Do not leave cigarette butts in the yard. • The city of Colorado Springs has a 10pm noise curfew
