Romantic barn in rural idyll with hot tub

Lower Stables is a romantic hideaway nestled in the private countryside of Carclew on the outskirts of Mylor, in easy reach of creeks, beaches and Falmouth. The stables boast a wood fired hot tub, beams, wood burner, luxurious bathroom with roll top bath and rain shower and a large well equipped kitchen. There are many lovely spots to enjoy the rural idyll; meadow for sundowners, private 1 mile walk - perfect for dog owners, fenced gardens with barbecue and fire pit for stargazing. The space Lower Stables is very comfortably decorated with a large sofa, super king size bed and big farmhouse table perfect for spreading out the Sunday papers. Lower stables sits within a court yard with another holiday barn next door (perfect if two couples wish to book together), cottage and large farmyard barn. The fenced garden for exclusive use of Lower Stables is a short walk away through the old stables area. There are two wood fired hot tubs for both holiday barns in the old stables area. Complimentary basket of logs provided, further logs available at cost in Honesty Shop. Lower Stables guests have exclusive use of one of the hot tubs, just a short walk away from their accommodation. It is an ideal base for walking, sailing, cycling and exploring. There is plenty of space in our old stables if you want to bring cycles, boating or surfing equipment. The old stables also house croquet and boules sets, an honesty shop selling logs for the hot tub, charcoal and frozen Cooks meals and local pasties. Two well behaved dogs are very welcome. Carclew is home to horses, cats, dogs and chickens! There is plenty of parking just above the stable block. Trolleys are provided for luggage. From November to May we welcome short breaks (minimum booking 3 days) with check in on either Friday or Monday. Cottage not suitable for infants/children - sorry.
