Our beautiful couples bell tent is nestled amongst the shady Mulga Trees on our Outback Sheep Station in Western Australia. All linen for the bed is provided and the tent is a short walk to hot showers and flush toilets. You get use of the cook house and kitchen facilities. Melangata Station is accessible by all vehicles most of the time. If big rains then sometimes or outback diet roads can be closed. . The space Western Australian Outback. Experience our beautiful Outback in the comfort of your own self contained Bell tent. Your own fire dish, plenty of places to see lots of history in the surrounding towns of Cue, Mount Magnet and Yalgoo. All you need to bring is your clothes and food. All cooking equipment and utensils are supplied. Bed linen pillows and blankets are supplied. Come and enjoy the peace and tranquillity. Guest access You will have access to the shearing shed and camp grounds. Tours of the historic homestead are conducted at 10am daily at a cost of $15/person which includes morning tea Half day tours of some if the sites on the station can be organised for an additional charge. In the area there is The Dalgaranga Meteorite Crater, abandon mine sites and a beautiful Aboriginal art site at Walga Rock. The historic Gold mining town of Cue is a short drive from Walga Rock. Other things to note This is the outback and if you are not familiar with travelling in remote locations please make sure you have plenty of water in your vehicle. Get proper instructions and directions don't just rely on Google maps as they are not always the best in remote locations. Always phone before you leave Yalgoo, we know how long it takes to get here so we can be waiting for you. There is no mobile phone coverage here so it is vital that you leave a trip plan with someone before you get off the grid. Once you arrive we are happy for you to use our phone to let them know you have arrived safely.
