Garden-Cottage & Luxury House Share

Join a wonderful house-share in an amazing space with open-minded, laid-back housemates. Your room is located a few stairs down the main house. It's quiet & big with your own bathroom, rain shower, skylight window, mini-fridge, safe, fast 50Mbit wifi & a desk. The common area upstairs in the house has fast wifi, Ren the adorable cat, movies on a big TV & electricity 24/7. Also a spacious lounge, kitchen, pool, sound system & perks like laundry and 2x weekly cleaning by our wonderful Shaheida. The space The most amazing thing about the house is probably it’s full panoramic sea view and the fantastic sunsets that take place in the ocean that is close enough, that you can even see whales at certain times of the year. To the right you see Lions head and behind you are the slopes of table mountain. The house is easy to access, even if you don’t have a rental car: Uber will get you to most places in town within 7-10 minutes for a couple of bucks. Guest access There are three bedrooms that share one kitchen and newly furnished lounge - as well as the pool and sundeck. I am trying not to host too many people at the same time and only offer single occupancy for some of the rooms. I do make an effort to host laid-back and inspiring travelers: Depending on season, you may enjoy the whole place for yourself - or share with some inspiring housemates. Common areas are not suitable to work remotely. During your stay While I do live in the house most of the time from October until May, there is a good chance to meet me personally as well as other visitors or short term renters. Unlike other hosts however, I have a full time job and can not offer the assistance (e.g. organizing trips) that first-time visitors to Cape Town may appreciate. Expect myself and/or your other temporary „housemates“ to be friendly, laid-back and sometimes open for common activities. Even friends may be at the house to chill, occasionally have dinner or a Braai (BBQ) or even a little party - you will always be welcome to join. I am trying to attract more open-minded & young (at heart) people to share this amazing place with respect & good vibes. Other things to note There are 50 stairs up to the house. Since I am an App developer, you can expect super-fast fibre internet,a big screen 4K TV, Netflix and a solid sound system to use by the pool or inside. If you are into sports/outdoor activities: You may find a roommate who is up to playing a round of tennis (rackets onboard) or joining you for a hike on Lions Head, which is minutes away (not to speak of Table Mountain).
