This Chalet is situated in Campello in the valley Leventina on 1440m altitude about 8 km from the highway exit Faido, 25 km off the Gotthard tunnel.The house (built in 1770) offer room for up to 6 persons and can get there easily by car or train/car postal. A parking lot is available. The house is heated with a woodstove in the kitchen and a „Pigna“ (tiled stove) in the living room. The other rooms are heated with electrical stoves. The space In this old typical house the ceiling height is rather low, so tall people just have to watch out ! The house lies in the centre of the village next to the church and in about 1 minute’s walking distance to the postbus station. In the middle oft he Swiss alps the region is basis of hiketrails (Strada alta), mountain bike trails, wintersports or paragliding. - the skiing resort Carì is only 4 km away (about 5 minuntes by car) - skiing resort Airolo about 30 min by car - the Splash&Spa Tamaro (indoor swimming pool with slides and Spa) about 45 minutes In Faido you find different grocery shops (Migros, Coop, Denner, ...), bars, restaurants, banks, a sports shop, hairdressers, pharmacies, doctors and even a hospital.
