A Riverview Bed & Breakfast
A Riverview Bed & Breakfast
Description
Our place is a warm and welcoming home in a quiet neighbourhood offering a lovely view over the Waipapa stream and incoming tide. It is easy to explore Kerikeri and the Bay of Islands from our home.Walking distance to the historic Stone store and Kemp house.Duncan and I are very open to spending time with our guests as well as respecting their space and privacy when they stay with us.One of us is often around and can advise on the area or assist with any questions our guests may have. The space Our home is warm and welcoming. It is a private and quiet space with a deck overlooking the river. This is often a place for peace & Tranquility early in the morning listening to the birds over a hot brew. it is a good space to watch the sun rise onto the deck in the morning till afternoon. It is suitable for 1 or 2 couples of the same group or a family of 6. Also suitable for solo adventurers and business travellers. Guest access our guest are welcome to come and be in the lounge with us to use the large T.v . We are happy for the guest to use the kitchen for cooking and we have a extra fridge/ freezer for them to put there groceries. We are happy for them to use the kitchen at night to cook meals and to use any oil, spices available and salt and pepper or sugar. During your stay As we live in the house one of us is available to assist with all requirements, we are happy to allow you your space or interact with you when required. sitting on the deck allows you the space you may need. Duncan and I like to think the house & the space are your home as much as ours while you are away from your home. Other things to note our place has a easy walk down to the river for a swim on a hot day or a walk along a track to Charlie's rock were there is a lovely waterfall & swimming hole. our guest can walk down to the stone store and across the bridge to the plough & Feather gastro pub or a cuppa at the honey cafe. There is a beautiful peaceful setting to be enjoyed even with a picnic. They can walk along the Rainbow falls Track to see fairy falls then Rainbow fall and return or just do a loop track. It is a good walk from our place.
