A unique place between heaven and earth, creative, mystical, and of indescribable intensity. An invitation for Lovers of Freedom, to feel at home. Open only to those who respect the preciousness of the environment and the house rules. The space After traveling the world, we fell in love with this place with dazzling light, a light never seen before. Sea, Sky, seagulls, no paved road, only sand, bounded expanses, sky, sea. The island is all beaches! Casa Turchese is a super versatile Large House. Large terrace with a porch and views of the sea and the mountain for romantic, intimate, or contemplative evenings. Large round table, handcrafted in Morocco. Ideal for honeymoons, long stays, writing, composing, playing (Petrof piano, guitar). For those who love walking, exploring, creating. For those seeking and needing a creative, meditative, and inspiring break for profound or necessary changes. Here you can carve out a sacred space for yourself, for a new beginning, for healing, for rebirth and awakening. A warm, welcoming, original home, full of Love. We created it with our own hands, with joy and passion, in the quiet, moment by moment, to celebrate the miracle of Life and of this oasis in the middle of the desert. For those seeking Silence, immersion in wild nature, spacious walks, the clear sea and an almost secluded beach for 9 months of the year, the house and the place are just right, imbued with Peace, the real, lived-in kind. The House is colorful, original, and spacious, full of artisanal details, Indian silk curtains, and decorations with Morocco's Zellige. Versatile, given the places that lend themselves to be lived either in absolute privacy or as shared spaces. The large terrace with porch has views of the sea and the cliff and is an additional romantic and habitable place given its large width. The house is located 50 meters from a beautiful beach with a turquoise, transparent, and calm sea, as it is an inlet. The house is located in a desert oasis called Pedro Barba (on the small island of Graziosa): a small paradise located in a national park a few meters from the ocean and a half-hour walk from another beautiful beach, La Lambra, where the energy of the waves is incredibly vibrant, making it suitable for surfing, and where whales go to die. The House is typical of the place, white and turquoise, and has been renovated in bio architecture, with original exposed stones. There is a large, equipped kitchen with an ocean view, two bedrooms, one with a double bed and a sauna, and the other with a TV, two beds, and an office area, as well as an exercise bike. In the living room, there is a Petrof upright PIANO, a handmade Neapolitan classical guitar, a beautiful Moroccan table, and a Berber rug. The acoustics are excellent. The kitchen is equipped with chef's knives, a blender, a food processor, a hand blender, a toaster, an Ariete oven, a Neff bread and pizza oven, and everything you might need. There is a large terrace where you can do yoga or other outdoor activities. The air is among the cleanest I know, free of pollen, and there are no mosquitoes or sandflies. Pedro Barba is among the few remaining terrestrial paradises, only 20 white houses in an exclusive corner of this islet called La Graciosa, belonging to the Chinijo archipelago (protected national park), but considered the eighth island of the Canary archipelago. Pedro Barba is a pearl in the middle of the desert, and in this area of the island it is forbidden to build. Pedro Barba is a 15-minute taxi ride from Caleta de Sebo. Years ago, we came on vacation to La Graciosa, and when we discovered Pedro Barba, we wished we could never leave. We prayed that we could buy a house in Pedro Barba from among the few available in this oasis – and closely guarded by the owners – and Life accommodated us by offering us the opportunity to buy two: Casa Azul and Casa Turquesa, twenty meters apart, both now available for Airbnb guests. For a long period of time we stopped in Pedro Barba, and here we experienced some of the most significant and creative moments of our Life together. We made the house comfortable, warm and welcoming so we could pick up part of the year. Now we live part of the year in the Umbra countryside in Italy and part in Pedro Barba. The climate in Pedro Barba is ideal, eternal spring 12 months a year, cool on summer evenings, and ventilated. Pedro Barba is located in the northeast of this small island, where there is no asphalt, only white sand, and white houses on the sand. The beaches are large white or golden stretches, and the island is entirely surrounded by beaches and coves by turquoise water and colorful fish fauna (clockwise: Pedro Barba, Los Conejos, Caleta de Sebo, Bahia del Salado, La Francesa, La Cocina, Las Conchas, La Lambra). The island has about 650 inhabitants, but the only residents of Pedro Barba are us (We currently live between the Umbra countryside and Pedro Barba). Among the various excursions we suggest: the ring by bike (or on foot) of the island, with its extraordinary beaches; the ascent to one of the peaks of the island (Aguas Grandes, Montana Bermeja or Montana Amarilla); the day trip (catamaran) to the nearby uninhabited island of Alegranza (with its red sandy beach and the Jameo cave); the kayak crossing (with instructor) from the port of Caleta de Sebo to Playa del Risco (Lanzarote). The most spectacular beach on the island is undoubtedly Las Conchas, which we absolutely recommend visiting at sunset (but the bathroom is mostly forbidden, due to the strong currents in that stretch of coast); among the most secluded coves we point out Los Conejos (reachable in 20 minutes on foot from Pedro Barba via a panoramic path along the coast; necessary trecking shoes). The favorite beaches for swimming and snorkeling - in addition to that of Pedro Barba right in front of the house - are La Francesa (reachable on foot or by taxi from Caleta del Sebo) and, just beyond, La Cocina (the latter supported by low tide, when you can walk along the path that leads to Punta del Pobre). A stay in a unique place like Pedro Barba is a gift from this wonderful Mother Earth, both to be done and received.
