This sunny annexe has its own separate entrance, via 25 exterior steps, as the house is built into the hillside . It’s compact and cosy for two, with a small (4ft wide) double bed, private modern bathroom with shower, study area with fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle, and direct garden access. The house has beautiful views over Diss Mere and is a safe and peaceful place to relax , study or write as well as a great base for exploring Norfolk and Suffolk. Please ask us if you need parking. The space The annexe is attached to our home, which is a unique architect- designed house built in the 1960s and updated for modern comfort. The house is built into a hillside so only partially visible from the road.There is direct access to the garden which slopes down to the Mere. Guest access Keys are in key box. Code will be sent a day before you arrive. You will have your own private entrance through the garden gate and down the 25 exterior stairs, so although we will make you welcome if we’re here, and be on hand if you have any questions, interaction with your hosts is minimal to ensure social distancing and privacy . You have your own private bathroom and study area with microwave, fridge, toaster and kettle. Apologies there is no hob or oven but dishes and cutlery are available for your own food. Other things to note Please note that there is no parking at the house but we can direct you to free, on street parking a few moments away. By prior arrangement we can sometimes make our own parking space available, so please ask.The room is accessed by 25 exterior steps, including a spiral staircase.
