Chalet in Gryon

Welcome to our family chalet in the beautiful Swiss village of Gryon! The views from the chalet are stunning as it is in the fantastic family ski resort of Villars-Gryon-Diablerets. The Barboleuse telecabine and some shops are walking distance uphill, another shop are a very short downhill walk. Villars (spa, sports, restaurants etc) is a train ride away, less than 10 mins walk to train stop. The space This is our family home (we have a 5 year old son) and for your stay you will have use of our four bedrooms (1 large double with en suite modern shower room, 1 bunkbed room, 1 single on the top floor, 1 twin room on the ground floor) two bathrooms, 1 W-C. In the living room, the furnishings are lived in, but clean and functional. In the winter our medium size garage is at your disposal so as long as your car isn't huge, you won't have to clear the snow from it (it fits our medium SUV) In the summer our garage is locked, but there is a small cabanon where you can store your bikes. The garden is perfect for using our fire pit, the deck lovely for lunch time and sun lounging. The kitchen is fully renovated and equipped, there is also a washing machine and dryer for you to use downstairs. Guest access Plenty of onsite outside parking (at least 4 cars sensibly parked). You can get a ski shuttle, 3 min walk downhill from chalet in winter, or walk up to telecabine at Barboleuse in about 10 mins. There is a train stop (Bois Gentil) about 6 mins walk uphill from chalet, or Gryon station is 10-15 min walk mostly downhill. In the winter the garage is open, but cabanon closed. In the summer the garage is closed, but the cabanon can be used. Other things to note On request we can also provide a crib and highchair. Please also note that we have a TV, but no TV service. You must connect a laptop to it through HDMI cable and stream using the WiFi or use the Chromecast to cast Netflix, Disney whatever you have an account to. The wifi averages 30-40 Mbps.
