Farm living near TIEC and Tryon - II

This is a working farm with dairy goats, chickens and a large, commercial aquaponics system. Tours available by arrangement. The house is older and reflects the fact that we spend most of our time working on the farm. Lee is an artist with work in progress in our large, sunny kitchen. Still, sheets will be clean, floors will be vacuumed and we are friendly and happy to help. Swimming pool, weights and treadmill may be available. The farm is beautiful, easily accessible and 4.4 miles from TIEC. The space Guests are welcome to use the living room and dining room in addition to their bedrooms and bathrooms. Kitchen use by prior arrangement, although coffee will be available every morning. The half bath downstairs is part of a laundry room. Permission required to use laundry facilities. The lawn and gardens near the house and our small orchard are available. Ask for croquet and badminton set if you’re interested. We require guests to get our permission to use the swimming pool. Guest access Guests are welcome to share our living room and dining room as well as the kitchen if I am not using it. The grounds around the house including gardens, lawn and our small orchard are open to guests. Ask about croquet and badminton sets if you’re interested. Because we have farm work we may be busy but will always try to help out with information and directions. When we’re not working we’d be happy to spend some time talking with interested guests and tours and farm experiences are available Other things to note This is a rural area although we’re close enough to see TIEC’s lights on a dark night. Internet is slower but you’ll probably be able to see more stars here at night. Life in the country is good!
