It is surrounded by a beautiful natural environment and it hosts a private garden full of citrus trees (400 lemon, orange and mandarin trees). The house is located in the green valley of Vathi, 1km away from the enchanting gulf of Rina. Here, in the green valley of Vathis, located deep within fjord (a true wonder of nature!), we will wait for you to enjoy the green environment and smiling sun. In September, Kalymnos transforms into the ideal destination for outdoor activities. Vathis offers a multitude of opportunities for recreation, including swimming in its warm deep blue waters, exploration with a kayak/canoe of its breathtaking beaches, and of course climbing!  Kalymnos is considered a still hidden gem and one of the favorite climbing destinations worldwide for novice or pro climbers. It boasts numerous climbing routes (more than 3,400!) and probably the highest quality limestone in the world.  It’s the ideal site to learn climbing or to enjoy the incredible routes.  Puerto Escondilo is the climbing sector placed on the right fjord side in Vathis. It’s walking distance from our cottage and offers climbing courses with various levels (6,6b, 7, and 7b). Vathis is also ideal for snorkeling, spear fishing, recreational fishing, or scuba diving, thanks to its crystal clear (yet Mediterranean warm!) waters that offer tons of light, complex underwater landscape and marine life.
