My sweet bungalow is a gem! My back yard is recovering from a recent construction project, so the ground is brown instead of green, but plants and birds still abound! Front patio seating allows you some privacy with trees and tall plants nestling the seating area while still having a view of the sunset. Both are truly an oasis. The space This sweet, colorful 1942 "Minimalist Colonial" home offers a warm, welcoming, uniquely “Portland" feel, ready to greet you as you settle in for your stay. Gas fireplace in a warmly decorated living room, and beautiful front & back patios. Vintage bedroom furniture makes your stay even more authentic. One block to Fremont St. where locally-owned coffee shops, restaurants, and boutiques abound, including a neighborhood market with everything, including a walk-in beer fridge! Walking distance to Hollywood and Alberta. Straight shot down Fremont to Mississippi. Buses 24 & 75 stop 2 and 4 blocks away. Max lightrail is one mile away (walk, drive, e-scooter, or hop on a quick bus to get there!). Nearby e-scooters & e-bikes, with a designated parking rack one block from my house. Airport is a 12min drive. Pick mission figs, blueberries, tomatoes and more from my front yard in warmer weather. Sip a glass of wine on the patio, or grab my loaner umbrellas and stroll the neighborhood on a rainy day! I have window AC units in the bedrooms and another window unit in the living room for when temps get hot. All are welcome here :) Guest access You’ve got the run of the house, inside and out, except the upstairs. All the photos you see in the listing are areas open to you! During your stay I am a friendly and social personality. If you'd like company or the inside scoop on what to visit, let me know! Otherwise, I give you your privacy :) I usually stay in the little house in the back yard, but you may see me pass through the laundry room to grab the mail or do a load of laundry :). Outside guests are not permitted to hang out inside. They may hang out with you on the patios. Please consult with the other Airbnb guest about plans should you invite others to the house. Other things to note This is a bungalow where sound travels. You can hear mumbling from outside your room and water running in the bathroom. Quiet hours are 10pm-7am. There are no Covid requirements in the house. Should state or federal mandates be announced, guests will be expected to follow all mandates, and will be asked to leave with no refund if they are not.
