Private room in a village resort at Chettinadu

A village style resort in Kanadukathan, a heritage village. There are 8 air conditioned rooms with double or twin beds. The rooms are designed like the homes in Chettinad villages. Hand made Attangudi tiles have been used for flooring and the furniture in the room resembles those used in homes in the region. The rooms have an air conditioner and fan. The bathrooms are modern with shower with running hot and cold water. Hair dyers and tea/coffee makers are available on request. The space The resort is located equidistantly about 1 ½ hours drive from Tanjore, Madurai and Trichy. And about 3 kms from the Tanjore – Madurai highway as also the Trichy – Rameswaram highway. The resort is surrounded by huge mansions. Guests have access to most of the facilities of the famed sprawling Chettinad Mansion, just 5 minutes walk. Guests can visit the Pillayarpatti Temple, Kundrakudi Temple (both about 10 mins. Drive) and do a day trip to Rameshwaram (which is about 3 hours drive).
