Between Land and Sea

Description

First marina of Cap-Corse after having been, in the 19th century one of the most active of the island in all the "registers" of the Navy. Macinaggio is a "pleasant" marina of Cap Corse, and a charming village in the town of Rogliano. sandy beaches, Genoese towers, American houses, grain mills, picturesque villages and coastal paths. A port where you can find everything nearby, shops, bar, café, tobacco, restaurants, shops , pharmacy, gas station etc The space the accommodation is facing the sea, 10 meters from the beach, at the port of macinaggio, near the small port square where all shops, restaurants, etc. are located. Everything is done on foot in macinaggio. Macinaggio is between land and sea, hiking along the sea, visiting neighboring villages, swimming, water sports, sports coach and aquagym depending on the season by appointment. Visiting the neighboring Corsican and Italian islands. Guest access you have access to the whole apartment, outdoor terrace the beach for free in front of the accommodation as well as free parking Other things to note our village is a typical Corsican village, with natural and cultural sites. This encompasses the Finochiarola and Domaine de la Casinca islands. The port of Macinaggio was built north of the ancient Roman port named Tamina in antiquity. Genoese towers (XVI) including those of: -Quercioli –Bettolacce –Barbara Da Mare Tower Church of Sant ’Agnellu (XVI then extended in the XVIII) in the center of Rogliano The Customs Trail - a protected and unspoiled natural site from Macinaggio to Centuri. The port of Macinaggio Ruins of 2 castle Ruins and sites of: Castelacciu San Colombano - Castellu. The coast of Macinaggio / Rogliano mixes with the customs path: it begins after the marina and extends to the magnificent beaches of Tamarone and the Finocchiarola Islands, passing through the site of Santa Maria di A Capella, Cala Genovese , Cala Francese, Capandula and by the towers of Agnellu and Barcaghu. On leaving Macinaggio, after a left turn, take the first road on the right (sign for Tamarone, Sta Maria). 400m after, take the fork to the right, then follow the signs for Camping U Stazzu where the road turns into a motorable track until Tamarone beach. Hut and parking. Cross the sandy beach. At the end, a wooden sign for Sta Maria, via the interior or the customs path. The trail rises along the fence, a small house on the left. At the top of the hill, take either of the tracks that meet soon after. Then go down to the second beach, stony, facing the islands of Finocchjarola, cross it and ignore the track on the left. Take the coastal path that starts flat (sandy track), then fork to the left and climb again to pass above a cliff, from which we discover a beautiful view of the three Genoese towers of Chiapella, Agnello and Giraglia, before going down again, in a beautiful maquis, towards the small Romanesque Chapel of Sta-Maria. In front of the chapel, you reach a wide track that you have to take on the right to reach the Genoese Tower in 5 minutes, with your feet in the water. Take the same path for the return. The legendary GR20 is a footpath through the Corsican mountain stretching for nearly 200km. It is undoubtedly one of the most difficult in Europe (even if anyone in good physical condition is able to face it) which can be dangerous in bad weather such as rain, thunderstorms, snow in winter ... It is therefore advisable to do it between June and September, the period when nature is the most lenient on the island. If you are an experienced hiker, it will take about 14 days (with an average of 7 hours of walking per day) to overcome it. The classic Gr20 runs from north to south, from Calenzana to Conca and is divided into 2 main stages, from Calenzana to Vizzavona and from Vizzavona to Conca (northern part and southern part of the GR20). However, other stages are possible for less experienced hikers: The Mare E Monti and the Mare a Mare which are hikes without particular difficulty. During your holidays in Corsica, take advantage of the must-see places to learn more about the island, its cultural richness, its diversity of landscapes, and its traditions. CIRCUITS AND AUTOTOURS IN CORSICA this time, this circuit runs along part of the east coast of Corsica with a detour through Cap Corse and Center Corse. It is offered as part of a short stay.
