North Mill Cottage is bright, spacious and self-contained with its own entrance. It is all on one level with oak flooring throughout, and has its own garden and parking for one car. It was built 16 years ago adjoining the main house which is around 300 years old. The cottage sleeps 2 with one bedroom (king size bed), large living room, fully equipped kitchen inc. Nespresso coffee machine. We provide tea/coffee and a welcome hamper which includes home baked bread, butter, jam, milk and treats! The space The view from the living room looks across to The Terrace - a popular local walk through farmland alongside the River Ashburn. In recent years Ashburton has become well known for its antique shops, great cafés and also as a location for high quality independent food shops such as Ashburton Deli, The Fish Deli, Artisan Bakery and The Dartmoor Butcher. North Mill is a 2 minute walk to the nearest pub, The Ashburn Inn. In September there is also a well established Food and Drink Festival. Music and the Arts also have made an impact on this Dartmoor town. Ashburton Arts, in its own dedicated venue, hosts many varied events each week and was featured in a 2018 'Best Small UK Music Venues' in The Guardian. Guest access North Mill Cottage is self-contained with a garden solely for guests own use. There is a patio with table and chairs to enjoy the Devon sunshine... Other things to note Travel cot: We can provide a travel cot (on request) for guests' use with mattress and sheet. Please bring other cot bedding. Books etc: We have a selection of jigsaws, games, books and DVDs. If you have any other requirements, please don't hesitate to ask. Parking: There is off road parking for one car.
