Live Oak Cabin is located on the beautiful property of River’s Bend Retreat Center. The Navarro River meanders through the middle of this magical land and has numerous swimming holes. Explore 40 acres of forest, grassy meadows, and flower garden. If you are looking for a quiet weekend getaway, a personal retreat for inspiration or reflection, a great place for kids to have space and play, River’s Bend is an amazing fit. The space Close to the river, Rustic Cabins are historic cabins that contain simple furnishings, including beds that are supplied with a bottom sheet and pillow, a wood-stove and electricity. Shared bathrooms with shower, flush toilet, sinks is short walk away. Shared outdoor fridge and sink. Minimum price is for up to 2 guests; Use Preview for cost of additional guests. Guest access We are lucky to be surrounded by Oak and Coast Redwood trees and the Navarro River runs through the property which has a beautiful swimming hole for all guests. Site Access: USE OF THE GROUNDS is reserved for our guests or staff. We are bordered by Hendy Woods State park accessible across the river and through our campground. On all other sides there is PRIVATE PROPERTY. -There are 9 lodges located on the property as well as other administrative buildings. We also host special events and weddings if you are looking for a space for a large group… -Library: Located near the office. Open 24/7 -Garden: Feel free to look and smell. Please do not harvest (this is a staff garden) Other things to note All guests should bring: -Sleeping bag or blankets -Full bedding is not provided in Rustic Cabins just a bottom sheet, pillow and pillow case -Bath or river towels are not included because it helps us save significant amounts of water. -A flashlight -Comfortable sturdy shoes (water shoes if you intend to explore the Navarro River) -Some kind of sweater or light jacket for cool, coastal evenings (even in warm season) and a raincoat for spring and fall stays. A hat for rain and/or sun. -Toiletries, including soap and shampoo -Insect repellent.
