Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, two miles outside Shenandoah National Park, and just off main street in Sperryville, our cozy efficiency apartment is close to a variety of attractions. The unit is fully furnished with a full bath, kitchen, off street parking, and private entrance. We're just a short drive to the park or a short walk to downtown Sperryville. Originally a 19th century barn that was later converted into two apartments (see our other unit, Riverside Tourist Room and Bath)we offer a queen size bed, open layout, with a full kitchen and bath. The main house (built in 1916 and affectionately known as Boo Boo's House) sits right next door just off Main Street. Get away from it all and enjoy the mountains, right in the heart of Sperryville , with its antique shops, art galleries, wineries, and world famous restaurants!! this is an entire studio apartment in a two unit, detached building. We leave that up to the guests but are right next door and always available. Sperryville is a charming little village. Full of character (and characters!) So much to do in such a tiny town!!Wonderful world class restaurants, fabulous shops, antiques and galleries abound. Along with wineries, we have brew pubs, and a local distillery. Not to mention all the natural beauty that surrounds us and all located in a friendly and welcoming community! Downtown Sperryville is a just a walk away. For hiking and exploring Shenandoah National Park, Luray Caverns or nearby towns, a car is required. We can offer car service to and from some of the nearby restaurants / Inns for a small fee(schedule permitting.) Please keep in mind that although we are in town, we are in a rural community. We are not only surrounded by natural beauty but also by nature so you may expect to encounter critters , both big and small. Rappahannock County seems to be stinkbug central(especially in late spring and fall) and Asian beetles are also fond of the area.
