Just a short walk takes you to our beautiful Sunset Beach. A tropical beach community, Treasure Island engages nature, water and the environment at every opportunity. The brilliant sun, white sandy beaches and glorious sunsets are part of our everyday life here in our little paradise. There is a boardwalk at the end of the island that is just the right place to spot dolphins and manatees during the winter months. There are two grocery stores within one mile and many restaurants to choose from within walking distance. We are happy to provide ideas, just ask! There is convenient public transportation that makes visiting downtown St Petersburg and surrounding beach communities a breeze. Suncoast Beach Trolly runs every 20 to 30 minutes. If you do have a vehicle, Disney World and Bush Gardens are only an 1 hour and 20 minutes away. Great for a day trip! Fort De Soto is another fun place to visit. Only 20 minutes from Sunset Beach, the park is well worth the trip.
