Like a tropical paradise. It’s got all the amenities of a modern home with delightful arts and crafts touches and a sun-drenched garden with a full-size pool. There’s a spacious eat-in kitchen and lounge as well as two medium-size bedrooms with comfortable en-suite bathrooms. Outside there are views of the lush garden, salt water pool and glimpses of Table Mountain. The sheltered deck is a comfortable spot to enjoy the afternoon sun. The space The house comprises a subdivision of 125 yo Herbert Baker Colonial home and includes its own formal garden and large pool. This architect is known for his twisty chimneys, elaborate gables and high ceilings. The garden is a haven for small wildlife; lizards, frogs, fish, insects and birds will fascinate kids and adults. Have a BBQ under the vines, loll on the pool loungers, host a zoom call or sip a glass of local wine under the shading palms. If you want serenity, oodles of space, a central location and a creative environment, this is the place for you! Guest access You have exclusive access to the house, the garden and the pool. The pool is not shared. Only the entrance gate, laundry and garage are shared with your host. Other things to note GAS HEATING and Electric Blankets are provided. LAUNDRY: Use of the washing machine is free. The tumble dryer is available at a fee per use. Pls fill in the honesty register and settle at the end of your stay. SUPPLIES: Linen, towels, shower gel, tea, coffee, milk, olive oil, spices, braai brikettes, toilet paper & rusks are provided on arrival. We don’t provide extra cleaning materials and TP for stays of a month and more. Checkers60Sixty delivers all grocery orders, same day, before 15:30 - get the app. SUSTAINABILITY GOALS: Help us reach our environmental goals. We use filtered rain and ground-water, solar water heating, recycle waste, avoid pesticides and also endeavour to turn off lights when not in use. PARKING: We don’t have parking for two large vehicles. We can accommodate 1 lg vehicle under cover & 1 med-size vehicle parked on the side of the drive.
