The apartment is positioned on a beautiful hillside overlooking the city and mountains beyond. Free off street parking, a quick 10-20 min walk or 5 min drive to the Launceston CBD, restaurants, museums, trendy cafes, shops and the Gorge. Only a 10 min drive to the Launceston airport and 1 hours drive from The Spirit Of Tasmania in Devonport. The apartment is located in a very quiet 1960s apartment block that consists of 8 units and is located on the top level on the end, which makes it nice and private. The living space is open plan with unique wallpaper, chandelier light fittings, a reverse cycle air conditioner/ heat pump and retro furniture that will make you feel comfortable and cosy. The smart TV has Netflix & YouTube + a range of other streaming services. Sunlight fills the apartment throughout the day, with lovely city views of Launceston, the mountains and surroundings. By night you will enjoy a gorgeous view of sparkling city lights - when you want to feel more cosy just pull the lovely floor length curtains shut and settle in on the couch with a wine or a cuppa tea for the night. Fall into the beautiful upholstered queen bed that provides comfort and support so you can sit back with a cuppa and a good book for relaxed pre-slumber bliss. The bedroom features a built in robe, block out Luxaflex blinds & a small oil heater. The quant tiled ensuite style bathroom connects directly off the bedroom - It has a concealed laundry cupboard that houses the washing machine, ironing board, iron, and clothes drying rack. We provide the apartment with an assortment of tea, ground coffee with coffee plunger, and other condiments + plant based mylk. If you're not wining-and-dining at the amazing local cafes & restaurants, the kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking essentials you may need to prepare your own meals. Guest access Key safe box provided at front door. Access to whole apartment, balcony, clotheslines in the garden at the front of apartment block, and 1x off street parking space in the private carpark. Other things to note The apartment is located on the first floor and is only accessible by stairs. Please respect the property and leave it clean and tidy when you check-out. Please make sure all heaters, electric blanket, lights, and T.V are turned off when you check-out, and to take your rubbish & put it in outside bins provided. Thank you in advance :) The apartment sleeps 2 adults, with a portacot available for 1 infant upon request. Please read carefully: The apartment is strictly no smoking! If we can smell smoke inside the apartment once you have checked out, we will unfortunately not be able to give you a good review. We have had issues in the past and it has affected other guests stays. Please respect the space and be mindful of other people in the apartment block and guests as cigarette smoke is not pleasant and it sticks to all fabrics. If you would like to smoke, please do so outside in the carpark or the grass area where the clotheslines are away from the apartment. When bookings are back to back Check-in is 2:00 PM local time.
