The castle and the top of the Royal Mile are a short walk from the property and Princes Street is only a few minutes away. You will be on a quiet street despite being in the city centre, there's something to do whichever way you leave the front door. Sainsbury's, Tesco and other local convenience stores are minutes away. Being in the city centre you will enjoy a wide choice of bars, bistros, restaurants and coffee shops all close by. The apartment is conveniently close to the route of the city 'jump on, jump off' tour buses. These link up between all the main sites and can be used to access further attractions such as Edinburgh Zoo, the Botanic Gardens and the Royal Yacht Britannia. Guest access Recently renovated 2nd floor, 3 bedroom flat in an ideal location. The kitchen area includes hob, oven, microwave, fridge, washing machine, coffee brewer, toaster and kettle. The bathroom has newly fitted modern shower. The apartment has secure entry and has recently been refurbished. All bedding and towels are provided along with toilet roll, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. There is a travel cot and double inflatable mattress also available for use on request. Tea, coffee, sugar, milk, a loaf of bread, butter, jam and a drawer filled with ice creams is supplied for when you arrive. The 300 skylink bus leaves directly from the airport and stops a few minutes walk from the apartment. For larger parties, a taxi can be a more convenient option for a similar price. All directions including photographs are available on the Airbnb website under ‘check in details’ a couple of days before arrival. Metered parking is available nearby 8.30am to 18.30pm Monday to Saturday. For longer periods Castle Street car park is better value. There is a key safe at the property for convenient guest access. If there are no guests departing on your day of arrival then early entry (prior to 4pm) can be arranged. Bags can be dropped at the flat from 11:30am if there is a guest change over.
