Le Tofane Farmhouse and Organic Dairy

The apartment includes a double bed, three single beds, a kitchen, and a bathroom. The family runs a certified organic sheep farm and a dairy. We would like to inform our guests of the presence of 4 livestock protection dogs (Maremma-Abruzzese shepherd) and two border collies; very balanced, affectionate and docile, they are essential for the development of our business given the presence of the wolf within the Maremma Park. The space The apartment is located within the Maremma Park, in the countryside but not far from the village. In fact, just 4 km away we find Alberese, equipped to meet every need (bars, food, restaurants, pizzerias, bike rental, bus stop, Italian Post Office, bike path, info-point, newsstand and tobacco). The beach of Marina di Alberese is 12 km from us and can be reached by car, bike or bus. Guest access The apartment is located near our home, followed by the fenced garden, the dairy, the night shelter of the sheep and the milking room. These are all free areas, but we always remind our guests that our presence near the livestock is appreciated. It is therefore possible to discover the entire journey of the milk, from the sheep to the pasture to the milking, to arrive at the moment of the production of pecorino, yogurt, ricotta, and much more. You can taste and buy our products at the dairy's point of sale. Other things to note Our business has recently acquired the Quality Mark of the Maremma Park and the Recommended Exercise target of the Park, thanks to which our guests will be able to take advantage of some offers to visit the Park and the beach.
