Rockhaven, a romantic getaway is a rare find. Step back in time and enjoy almost 600' of lake shore on Vermont's unique Lake Champlain with 180 degree views, from westerly views to New York's Adirondacks, through the north and east to Vermont's Green Mountains. This private site is 2 acres with mature trees, meadows, and wooded buffers, ensuring a peaceful and private stay. There are two cottages available; they can be rented separately or together. Each is one bedroom with private bath. The space Rockhaven Island view , a one bedroom cottage furnished with a king size bed, is located in a private setting with magnificent views of the lake. The cottage features a beautifully appointed bathroom with walk-in tiled shower. A convenient kitchenette includes a coffee maker, mini-fridge, microwave, and sink. The sitting area is adjacent to the spa and is well lit and furnished with comfortable chairs. Spa Cottage guests have exclusive access to an indoor dry sauna as well a private deck. Guest access Both cottages have unlimited access to kayaks, and bicycles. We have 2 cottages in the Rockhaven property Island view and kibbe cottage so please check both of them according our calendar , same property , same lake and almost same setting . Other things to note Island view Cottage consists of 2 separates rooms connected via outdoor "patio " that allows guests to experience the great outdoors . New this year , an exterior wood burning fireplace draw original camping element into the cabin . Our king size luxury Duxiana bed will guarantee you the best sleep comfort ( new this year ) and a new outdoor table setting will become the perfect spot to enjoy your meals , play game or read a book while taking in the surroundings Scenic views . The Cottages are situated high above the shale beach and guests will need to access the beach via stairs . We are dog friendly with friendly dogs as our dog Lucy and Rio ( springer spaniels ) runs free around the property ... BEFORE instant booking please let us know if you will be bringing a dog . We will accept 2 dogs with no extra fees ONLY AFTER consulting with us . The use of kayaks , canoe or bicycle are exclusively reserved for guests or Airbnb owners ... the use of them should be done accordingly with safety rules ( use of life jackets are mandatory .
