Perched right on the foreshore and overlooking the bay is Squid Ink Shack. A comfortable & spacious waterfront property with 180 degree views over the bay. It’s a peaceful & tranquil setting among the tall gum trees. Go for a swim, snorkel or kayak right at your front doorstep or take a short leisurely walk down the gravel road to fish off the jetty or launch the boat and let the kids play on the sands of White Beach. Our place is a perfect base to explore all the Tasman Peninsula has to offer. The space Squid Ink Shack is the perfect base to visit the wonderful attractions on the Tasman Peninsula. Its breathtakingly beautiful in summer and also lovely for winter weekend escapes with our cosy wood heater and a new heat pump as well as our fire pot area outside. Professionally cleaned linen on our super comfortable beds. We also now have a new comfortable leather couch with chaise and Netflix. Squid ink Shack has plenty of room inside and outside. Lay on the beautiful, large deck with all day sun, overlooking the sparkling blue ocean. We are so close you can hear the water lapping up and if your lucky you’ll see our resident seal Sammy! There is also an abundant of bird life. Wander along the gravel road and fish off the jetty. It’s the perfect beach getaway for you & your love or you and your family! We also have a great collection of books and games as well as a fun outdoor Vully swing set. Squid Ink Shack really is the quintessential Tasmanian Shack! Guest access Guests have access to the whole house and private yard. Other things to note Please note we are on tank water so you need to be water wise! We have a reverse cycle heat pump/Air Con keeping you extra comfortable during your stay. As well as the cosy wood fire. There are two supermarkets and a bottle shop with in 5 min drive from the shack but we find it best to stock up in Sorell on your way down to the Peninsula. We also have WiFi.
