Hapgood general store and centrally located to multiple towns and ski areas. With brilliant natural light and rolling pasture views, the quiet dead end dirt road provides privacy, while still being only a mile from J.J. Hapgood general store and centrally located to multiple towns for all of your vacation getaway essentials. This house encompasses the best of both worlds. The 1st floor has an open fully equipped kitchen & well appointed living room, 2 bedrooms with queen size beds & 2 full bathrooms with showers, one with a bathtub. *Please note that the wood stove is not in-use for guests. The second floor is a spacious loft with two twin beds. In the living room, there is a couch, two comfortable chairs, a round table for dinner or games, a large flat screen TV, satellite TV with movie channels. A short drive to four ski areas - Stratton, Okemo, Bromley and Magic Mountain - Peru is also conveniently located to a diverse spectrum of recreational enjoyment for every season. Most of the ski areas transform to adventure parks in the summer including the infamous alpine slide at Bromley, mountain coaster and mountain biking at Okemo, and annual Wanderlust Yoga festival at Stratton. Hapgood Pond is right around the corner, as well as Lowell lake for nearby swimming, canoeing, kayaking and paddleboarding and Manchester Designer Outlets for shopping. The Vermont Country Store in Weston is a must stop universal attraction, the Golf Club at Equinox is one of many beautiful golf courses closeby, and the Vermont Summer Festival Horse Show draws in equestrian lovers from far and wide. There’s simply too much to list, as there are unlimited options in this southern Vermont area to explore for every age and interest! Guest access Full access to the entire house.
