Our guest suite is ideal for one person or a couple. Its central location will appeal to people who want the full Edinburgh experience, but who also want somewhere quiet to come back to that has all the facilities of a modern apartment. It is also an ideal space for those planning on leisure time, or meeting friends/family, but who also need to spend some time working. The bright, airy and tranquil setting, with a table, comfortable sofa and ultrafast Wi-Fi will suit their needs perfectly. The space This self-contained studio with its own private entrance forms part of a large 2nd floor flat in a Grade A listed Victorian sandstone terrace, that has been renovated throughout to a very high standard. The rooms have a wonderfully light and spacious feel to them. The sympathetic neutral decor and contemporary furnishings add a modern touch to what is essentially a period property. The star feature is undoubtedly the stunning wide-angled view from the bay window, overlooking both the residential gardens and the Edinburgh skyline! The apartment layout has been designed with separate sleeping, dining and sitting areas, in addition to a well-equipped kitchenette with dishwasher, fridge and cooking facilities. An adjoining W.C. and shower room with modern fixtures, a washer/dryer and decorative fireplace completes the guest suite. ---------- Although the guest suite forms part of our flat and main residence, it is completely self-contained and has its own private entrance from the landing. The connecting inner door to the rest of the property is locked, to afford both our guests and us total privacy during their stay. The entire flat actually spans two buildings of the terrace. The guest suite is located in one building and the main part of the flat, where we will spend most of our time whilst guests are here, is located in the adjacent building. We are both friendly and approachable, but we respect that some guests will wish to be left entirely alone. Aside from the arrival day, there is no requirement for guests to interact with us, unless they wish to do so of course! :-) Other things to note Please be aware that there is no TV in the guest suite. However, ultrafast Wi-Fi is available with speeds up to 900mbps. We therefore advise guests to bring their own laptop or tablet if they want to download/stream content to watch during their stay.
