Trust me...you have never seen more stars on a clear night than you can from this house! Sit out on the top porch and listen to the quickly moving waters of the stream across the street. In the spring and summer you can open the windows and it will put you to sleep! Dozens of board games and dvds to keep you and the kids busy! Just 10 minutes to Stratton Village where there are multiple restaurants, shops and bars! Hiking, snow shoeing and snowmobiling trails are 1 min up the road at the Recreation Center. 7 minutes to Grout Pond for views, hikes, ice fishing. Free 4 basket Chip and Putt Disc golf just added! Bring your own discs and make your own tee boxes. Please just don’t set up tee boxes which bring the house or shed into play! Guest access You will have full range of our home. Feel free to use the sled, butterfly nets, book bag, coolers and snow shoes that are in the basement. There is a fire pit in the backyard for seasonal use as well. You can buy your wood at the local country stores or use the wood on the rack in the basement for $5 per bundle. This wood can be used for the indoor fireplace as well. There are fire starters located on the fireplace mantle. Other things to note We now have high speed Starlink internet! Working remotely has never been easier. Cell phone service can sometimes be spotty, but not when connected to WiFi. We personally have AT&T, which seems to do better than Verizon. There is no cable, but we have a smart tv, a DVD player and hundreds of Dvds. Just bring your Netflix or other streaming passwords and log in! There are also many board games for both adults and children! There is a custom made baby gate with a latch at the top of the stairs. We also have a high chair and child dishes and cups. First aid kit is located in bathroom vanity drawer. ***Summer only***There is a window unit ac in the main bedroom and works great. We also have a brand new portable ac unit (14,000 btu) in the main living area. There are also window fans located in the main bedroom closet, or in downstairs bedroom closet!
