Enormous windows look at horses 10 yards away. A covered deck provides breathtaking views for relaxation and a campfire pit offers nights under the stars. The space Wildfire Ranch Spiritual Retreat is a beautiful horse ranch located in the heart of Amish country in a little town called Spring Mills, Pennsylvania. We are just 25 minutes from Penn State University and State College, Pa. Our ranch uses horses to heal humans of depression with life-changing results. We also invite city slickers to stay with us on 'horse dude ranch vacations'. Wildfire Ranch is one of the only public-guided horseback trail ride stables left in Pennsylvania. Poe Valley State Park, Penns Cave, Seven Mountains Winery, Penns Creek Fishing and Penn State University are all extracurricular activities located nearby. MEALS: A country homemade breakfast can be purchased for an additional $10/person featuring organic scrambled eggs (from an Amish farm nearby), bacon, cinnamon-raisin bagels with homemade rolled Amish butter and Orange juice. Other breakfast menu options include pancakes with peach slices and hot and cold cereal. Lunch and Dinner meals can be purchased nearby at our full-sized grocery store with hot bar and salad bar - OR at restaurants just 12 minutes away. Other things to note We offer a homemade country breakfast for an additional $10/person featuring organic scrambled eggs, bacon, cinnamon-raisin bagels with homemade Amish butter and Orange juice - OR - thick and fluffy waffles with homemade Amish butter, topped with fresh fruit, a honey glaze and whipped topping, bacon and orange juice. PETS allowed on a case-by-case basis due to the fact that we have a 120 pound German Shepherd who tends to be territorial. As long as you can text us before letting your dog outside we can ensure his/her safety by pulling 'Durango' inside.
