Other things to note Pettigru Place Bed & Breakfast is a Federal-style brick home built in 1921 and listed on the historic register. The house was built as a private home for the Greene family and continues to be a private residence today. There are five guest rooms on the second floor, and one on the first floor. These rooms are accessible only by a flight of stairs with seventeen steps. The guest entrance to the B&B also has three stairs, and the bed and breakfast is not wheelchair accessible. Pettigru Place Bed & Breakfast is listed on the National Register of Historic Places under the National Historic Preservation Act (16 U.S.C. 470 et seq.), and is designated as historic under State law.
