Cabin in Lewisburg

This is a cozy yet spacious cottage at the dead end of a short unpaved lane. Quiet, private, with lots of wildlife in the woods above the Greenbrier River and trail. You won’t see or hear the neighbors. I stay in the studio apt. behind the garage on the far side of the property. I absolutely respect your privacy. Only 15 minutes from Historic Lewisburg, one of WV's best tourist destinations which offers restaurants, bars, shops, antiques, and the arts. It is 13 miles to The Greenbrier Resort. The space This place is special because it is comfortable yet a tad rustic. There are plenty of windows for light and a cathedral ceiling in the living room, hardwood floors throughout the house and ceiling fans in every room. There is no central air conditioning, but there are window AC units in the bedrooms. The nights cool off beautifully here in the mountains so there is usually no need for AC. It is dark and quiet at night..perfect for star gazing. You are bound to hear a whippoorwill or hoot owl while sitting by the outdoor fire pit or on the back porch. Guest access You will have access to the whole place and are welcome to use whatever is in the fridge and kitchen cabinets. I do make sure there is coffee and tea available in case you arrive before you can make it to the store. Other things to note The well water is perfect to drink. No need to bring bottled water.
