Cozy cabins (4 total) overlooking beautiful Onion Creek. Enjoy watching the birds and other wildlife while relaxing on your back deck. Have fun canoeing and fishing in the creek. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). Great place for family and friends to gather. You will feel like you are in the country but you are only minutes from town. We are located just 15 minutes south of Austin and about 20 minutes from San Marcos. San Antonio is just a short 1 hour drive down I35. Also convenient to Wimberly, Driftwood, Gruene and Dripping Springs. We have many wineries in the area,too. As a guest you will have about 5 acres to enjoy, which includes the creek. You will need an access code to enter the front gate. We live on the property so we are usually around if you need us. We just jump on our golf cart and head down the hill. We have 25 acres 1 mile west of our quaint little town of Buda. You get the feel of being out in the country but can be on I35 in less than 10 minutes. Buda has some unique shops and lots of family owned restaurants and businesses. Cabelas is just 5 minutes from our cabins. Best to get around with your own vehicle. Ride share is available. The sidewalk at the end of our lane goes all the way into and around Buda. Please note that there are 4 cabins on this property so there will be other guests. We ask that you respect their space and their right to enjoy their time. Please observe quiet time from 10:00p.m. to 8:00 a.m.. There are no separate bedrooms, however, the full-size bed in the loft, is behind a half wall and cannot be seen from downstairs. There is also a daybed with trundle(2 twins) in the loft. The ladder stairs to the loft is steep. Because we are on the Creek we do sometimes have issues with flooding. This rarely happens however the creek can sometimes be inaccessible. Sorry no WiFi The road to the cabins is narrow and there is a steep hill so please drive slow.
