Kauri Villas - Kingfisher Cottage

Kingfisher cottage is a one bedroom unit with a separate living room which even has a sofa bed if you do need more guests and a bathroom. There is a TV, dining table, fridge, microwave, toaster and of course tea & coffee. Outside there is a lovely little deck gives you a place to sit on a lovely summer evening. The Studio is separate to our main B&B villa with access to the expansive grounds. You have use of all property amenities including the games room and pool. The space Kauri Villas in Parua Bay, Whangarei, is more than just your standard B & B. Set on 12 acres incl. unspoilt native bush, with over 1km of paths to explore, large native trees, streams, waterfall, and native birds. The bush walk requires medium fitness level as is steep in parts. Kauri Villas sits atop a hill with stunning views over the harbour. We have accommodation for up to 18 guests in 5 separate suites and self contained units. All guests have access to a guest lounge and dining area, pool and spa pool are available for guests to enjoy. BBQ, kitchen and laundry available on request. We also have a games room in the old barn, which includes billiard table, table tennis, & foosball. We also have sheep and chickens which guests can feed. Guest access Parua Bay is 20 minutes from Whangarei township. We are not on a bus route, so own transport is required. We have plenty of parking on the property.
