The Lake Effect (Wheeler Lake, AL)

Welcome to our small slice of paradise on Wheeler Lake. Our large deck invites guests to enjoy the beautiful scenery while grilling and eating outdoors. Relax in the 16 x 20 ft screened gazebo while reading a book under the ceiling fans. Sit on the couch in the living room and enjoy the scenery from indoors if you prefer. Our kitchen is open to the living room and has lots of counter space. The kitchen is very well appointed. We want you to feel like you are home. Come and enjoy The Lake Effect! The space There are two master bedrooms with ensuite baths and king size beds. Another bedroom has a queen size bed and another room has two twin beds. There is a hall bathroom. A fully equipped laundry room is available as well. Bring some wood for the fire pit at the edge of the lake. We have high speed wireless internet and Roku with access to DirecTV Now including sports channels and children's programming. Our home sits on a large level lot with easy access to the water. The boat slip is not available to guests as we keep our boat in it, however you may fish in the shade under the boat dock's roof and you can tie your boat off to the dock. The KOA campground is within walking distance of the home. This campground has a beach area, rental canoes, kayaks, and bicycles. The campground also has a boat launch and camp store. Other things to note 1/8/21: We have a small gray and white cat named Buddy that lives outside the house. He is friendly to everyone that comes to visit his home. He prefers being outside and we do not want or allow him inside the house. We also have a calico cat named MOM that stays outside. She is extremely shy and stays to herself and will not bother you. Both have all their shots kept up to date.
