It’s off-grid, but there are no compromises re: hot water etc. The use of their fire-pits is a nice touch too. Ruth & James are very keen not to overcrowd the site, which is particularly important at the moment, but will ensure a pleasant experience here long after 2020. The village of Much Marcle itself hosts a list of events each year before you even have to travel more than a mile! Nestling, equidistant between Ledbury, Ross-on-Wye and Newent you have your pick of fantastic historic market towns (with their Market Houses) and the most amazing independent shops. Very slightly further away you have Hereford (another fantastic Market town), Gloucester and Worcester with their collections of cathedrals, museums and shopping. The Wye Valley and surrounding areas are renowned for their outdoor activities such as walking, cycling and canoeing surrounded by the most fabulous countryside. We are an off grid site but that doesn’t mean compromising on hot water. The showers are great in a shared amenity block. You may bring a dog but please let us know in advance. Dogs are £4 a night extra which can be paid on site. Max one dog per cabin. Dogs must be on a lead at all times on site and are under no circumstances are they allowed on beds.
