Rosbacka Barn - a rustic historical adventure

Looking for an adventurous unique stay with simple amenities, not too far away from the city? This nearly one hundred year old barn will offer you just that. The Barn is located in the heart of Rosbacka farm in Vantaa. You'll be surrounded by countryside scenery, and right at the doorstep you can enjoy watching our chicken's and cats running around. NOTE! No bathroom inside the barn. Bathroom with toilet and shower in the next building 10 meters away. The space There is electricity but no running water in the barn. We will supply you with fresh drinking water. Bathroom located in next building, 10 meters away. The barn is a cute two floor building. Downstairs you'll find a common area with a pull out couch, a dining table for four people and small kitchen. Upstairs is the bedroom. NOTE! Bed sizes are smaller than usual. The double bed upstairs is 120cm x 200cm. The pull out couch size is 140cm x 190cm - so it's best fit for kids and people that are max 175cm tall. The barn has little insulation, so please prepare yourself with warm clothing for the night. We provide sleeping bags, pillows and bed linen. Kitchen is equipped with a fridge, hotplate, pans and pots, cutlery, plates and cups. Dishes are washed by hand, in provided water basins. You also have the opportunity to bathe in our wood burning sauna at 25€ extra per person. The sauna is very traditional Finnish style where you wash up by scooping water from barrels, and hot water is heated in the stove's water container. Other things to note NOTE! Bathroom is located in a separate building 10 meters away. No running water in the barn. Drinking water is provided in containers. We have a flock of chickens and two roosters, sheep and bunnies living on the farm as well, so don’t be surprised of an early morning call from the rooster! No proper insulation on the Barn so not to used during winter months or temperatures below 5C.
