A 1970’s weatherboard style home situated short driving distances to the Airport (7mins), City centre (5mins), and 15mins drive from Bargara (use the map feature of Airbnb to see approx location). The Bundy Escape is not available for long term stays! It would suit couples and small groups (up to 5 pax) travelling to the Bundaberg area for a short break. The space With all you needs for a short break - this timber floored home, offers 2 spacious bedrooms featuring ceiling fans, a modern kitchen and bathroom, with spacious lounge room. Sleeping arrangements are as follows Bedroom 1 contains a Queens bed, bedroom 2 has 1x Queen and 1x Standard Single bed (max 5pax). Kitchen features an upright stove with oven, microwave and dishwasher along with coffee machine and other electrical kitchen appliances. The modular lounge provides an area to relax in front of the TV, for those times you are not exploring the area. If you require laundry facilities during your stay, there is a full-size laundry tub and front load washer, an outside clothesline for drying, plus an iron and ironing board. The Bundy Escape provides a base to explore the surrounding attractions of Mon Repos turtle rookery, Rum distillery and ginger beer factory plus access to the southern Great Barrier Reef islands of Lady Elliot and Lady Musgrave islands, or to attend an event or catchup with friends and family. 30mins drive to Lady Musgrave Cruises @ Port Bundaberg 20mins drive to Mon Repose Turtle Rookery 12-15mins drive to Bundaberg Rum Distillery or Bundaberg Brewed Drinks Barrel attractions 10mins drive to Lady Elliot Island @ Bundaberg Airport Guest access The Bundy Escape is 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom home - Guest have sole access to the 2 bedrooms, lounge & dining rooms, and the rest of the house including laundry, backyard and off street parking. *a maximum of 5 people can be accommodated. Other things to note The Bundy Escape does not have air conditioned! The property is currently for sale, as such we are only taking bookings we can honour. We don’t provide food items for breakfast or other meals, We do provide our guests with a few starter items like milk, tea, sugar, coffee, and toilet paper, however if during your stay you run out of these items it is up to you to replenish your supplies. We can facilitate a late check-in please let us know at the time of your enquiry. Self check-in is an option to access the property - we may decide to use this method for your booking as needed - we will advise you closer to your arrival if self checkin will be used.
